Sandi Wants Jakarta to Have Building Safety Audit

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, was looking to encourage an audit of buildings in the capital related to safety, especially those used as a public facility.

Sandiaga Attends UMKM Training at Jakarta Creative Hub

He expressed it was due to the collapse incident of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) building, South Jakarta.

"This shows that the accident can come anytime and anywhere, despite the place should be the most secure," he stressed.

That is why there should be a task force involving the owner, to periodically conduct inspections to ensure the building has proper safety.

"We want collaborative participation thus similar incident won't happen again," he stated.
